Class Descriptions:

Bikram Yoga
A 90 minute, 26 posture series practiced in a heated room with high humidity. This is beginners' yoga but is suitable for advanced practitioners alike.
It focuses on healing the body, cultivating strength, flexibility and balance and serves as an excellent compliment to Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga.

FlowYoga
FlowYoga is inspired by many different forms of yoga, with a strong foundation in the Ashtanga tradition.
This is an invigorating practice with creative and playful sequencing. This class maintains focus on breath awareness, core strength and key alignment principles.
All levels welcome.

Iyengar
This form of yoga focuses on precision and endurance within a multitude of progressive sequences. A strong practice that incorporates dynamic, static and restorative
postures to firm the body and steady the mind. Taught by one of South Africa’s most experienced certified Iyengar teachers, Lars Kruger. All levels welcome.

Forrest Yoga
Forrest Yoga honors and celebrates the beauty of life and the power of Spirit. It is an inspiring yoga practice that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while
helping deepen the relationship with your authentic self. Accessing your intuition - the voice of your Spirit - builds personal strength and ushers integrity into your daily interactions
with all beings. Taught by international yoga teacher Alana Brennan.
All levels welcome.

Hot Hour

Hot Hour is based on the 26 postures of Bikram Yoga and condensed into 1 hour. It is the perfect practice for those of you on the move and a great
way to fit another yoga class into your week. Be prepared to move, at a pace and leave feeling like a new person. It’s worth It!

Satyananda Yoga

Satyananda Yoga is an authentic system of yoga designed to share and communicate with all students and seekers the real purpose of yoga. During the
Satyananda classes students will practice as well as receive theory and philosophy regarding:

asanas - physical postures
pranayamas – breathing techniques
mudras – gestures that represent the psyche
bandhas – locks for channelling energy
shatkarmas – cleansing practices
chakras – psychic centres and other aspects of the subtle body

All these techniques purify the body, mind and energy systems in preparation for higher practices of meditation which help to balance
the physiological and psychological structure of our personality; thereby creating more joy, more love, more compassion and more peace
within each individual.
