Class Descriptions:

Bikram Yoga
A 90 minute, 26 posture series practiced in a heated room with high humidity. This is beginners' yoga but is suitable for advanced practitioners alike.
It focuses on healing the body, cultivating strength, flexibility and balance and serves as an excellent compliment to Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga.

FlowYoga
FlowYoga is inspired by many different forms of yoga, with a strong foundation in the Ashtanga tradition.
This is an invigorating practice with creative and playful sequencing. This class maintains focus on breath awareness, core strength and key alignment principles.
All levels welcome.

Iyengar
This form of yoga focuses on precision and endurance within a multitude of progressive sequences. A strong practice that incorporates dynamic, static and restorative
postures to firm the body and steady the mind. Taught by one of South Africa’s most experienced certified Iyengar teachers, Lars Kruger. All levels welcome.

Forrest Yoga
Forrest Yoga honors and celebrates the beauty of life and the power of Spirit. It is an inspiring yoga practice that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while
helping deepen the relationship with your authentic self. Accessing your intuition - the voice of your Spirit - builds personal strength and ushers integrity into your daily interactions
with all beings. Taught by international yoga teacher Alana Brennan.
All levels welcome.

Hot Hour

Hot Hour is based on the 26 postures of Bikram Yoga and condensed into 1 hour. It is the perfect practice for those of you on the move and a great
way to fit another yoga class into your week. Be prepared to move, at a pace and leave feeling like a new person. It’s worth It!

All these techniques purify the body, mind and energy systems in preparation for higher practices of meditation which help to balance
the physiological and psychological structure of our personality; thereby creating more joy, more love, more compassion and more peace
within each individual.

Go Hot

Go Hot created by Sally Flanagan is a ninety-minute Hot Yoga class influenced by the twenty-six postures of Bikram Yoga, Ashtanga and Flow Yoga.

Go Hot combines Bikram poses with the sun salutations and focuses on shoulder stretches and hip openers. It is a dynamic yoga practice, excellent for building strength, flexibility and balance.
The heated room assists the practitioner in sweating. This allows the body to release toxins resulting in a healthy system.
The heat warms the body up helping the student to stretch beyond her flexibility without the risk of injury.
Go Hot introduces people to Ujai breathing and the Flow aspect of yoga which increases lung capacity.
Concentration, focus and meditation are key aspects of a Go Hot class and assist in centering the body and focusing the mind.
Go Hot guides the student through deep relaxation both in and out of the postures.
When deep relaxation occurs the body releases stress and strain responsible for all disease and illness. Herein lies the healing power of yoga.
Yoga is the only form of yoga from which we gain energy as opposed to loose it.

Go Hot is the perfect practice for people who have been doing Bikram for a long time and want to expand their yoga practice but who enjoy the heated room.
It is excellent for people who are new to Flow and other styles of yoga as it teaches the basic sun salutation in a simple and precise way.
