Abandon all fear.
We encourage you to abandon all fear and speculation,
to let go of the thinking mind for a moment and walk courageously
into your first Bikram yoga class. Realize that every
single person around you, also, at one time, had their
first class. The best way to conquer fear is to walk straight
into the heart of it. Come along, Bikram yoga may very
well change your life, for the good, forever. And if you
never try you will never know.

Abandon the competitive mind set.
Yoga is absolutely non-competitive neither is it merely
a physical fitness work out program. It is not about how
far one goes in a posture but rather how mindfully. To
stay present in ones body to every feeling, to remain
conscious of ones every breath, is to do yoga. Yoga is
skill in action.
