What Is Sivananda Yoga?
Sivananda yoga is a holistic yoga approach that includes twists, inversions, backbends, forward bends, strength and relaxation in each session. Its purpose is to cleanse and liberate. Working and relaxing the entire body, this series of postures transform our state of being. Energy flows smoothly, blockages are released, and a state of healing, strength and calm will result. Sivananda yoga will improve flexibility, strength and life. It is also a very complementary to other yoga styles.

After five years of yoga practice in London with Narini and Girish (New Book of Yoga) and Martin (Tripsichore), I travelled to India, Kerala to qualify as an instructor. On my return to London, I taught at corporates, in gyms, health centres and Yoga studios. My yoga practice moved more and more into meditation. Over the years I have often reconnected with the joy and effort of yoga asana. It is an honour for me to teach what I have learned from my amazing teachers and from the inner journey of practice.
